AD62 – Golf Tournament and Fundraiser



On September 13, 2013, LeFrancis Arnold will host a Golf Tournament and Fundraiser at Chester Washington Golf Course, 1930 W. 120th Street, Los Angeles CA 90047. $125 per golfer includes green and cart fees, box lunch, Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, Hole-in-One, Golfer Gift Bag, refreshments, and the Awards Banquet. AD62: Campaign Kickoff Dinner & Dance


LeFrancis Arnold’s Campaign Kick-off Dinner & Dance Fundraiser was held on Saturday evening, June 1, 2013, at the Proud Bird Restaurant near LAX. Shannon Faulk opened the program to a packed and eager audiance, Jaaye Person-Lynn was the MC, and Lynn Dymally introduced LeFrancis as the guest speaker. Prior to LeFrancis’ speech, a plethora of attendees vocalized their endorsement of LeFrancis from the podium. Later, LeFrancis spoke to the packed and eager audience enlightening them on relevant backkground, his work in political advocacy over the past 30 years, and how he wanted to continue to fight to help Californians. The event was a lot of fun and a big success! Many thanks to all the evening’s participants and members of LeFrancis Arnold for Assembly 2014 because you helped to make this grass-roots campaign event a big success!

Attendee: Community Briefing on Water Supply Issues


On Friday, April 5, 2013, LeFrancis and other community leaders joined the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and CalDesal for a luncheon to recognize the leadership of Assemblymember Isadore Hall, III (AD 64) for important state water legislation in 2012, for an overview of current state legislative activities affecting the 64th Assembly District, and for information on key water issues impacting Southern California and local communities. During the event, Cal DiSal presented their “Legislator of the Year” award to Assemblyman Isadore Hall, III.

Special Guest: Meet the Candidate & Voter Registration

Tuesday, April 9, 2013, LeFrancis Arnold for Assembly 2014’s Young Professional Team hosted a “Meet the Candidate and Voter Registration” at the Savoy Entertainment Center in Inglewood, California. LeFrancis was introduced by Jaaye Person-Lynn. LeFrancis took the microphone and spoke to the Savoy’s eager audience. The first campaign event was a big success! During this well-attended event, we signed up new voters between the age group of 24 and 30, distributed literature, and LeFrancis and the young professional team were able to introduce themselves to a large number of the young professionals that this club caters to. Many thanks to Inglewood’s Savoy Entertainment Center.

Ports O'Call Restaurant
At 5:30 p.m. on Thursday evening, March 28, 2013, LeFrancis attended a wonderful birthday celebration for Janice Hahn, Congresswoman for the 44th Congressional District of California. This well-attended event was held at the waterfront Ports O’Call Restaurant located at Berth 76 in the San Pedro Harbor. A host of family, friends, and politicians were there to celebrate her special day. It was. indeed, a splendid event and lots of fun and networking was had by all.

Attendee: NC2A Regional Semi-Finals

LeFrancis attended the NC2A Regional Semi-Finals at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 28. Ohio State beat Arizona University with a last-second shot in one of the most thrilling games this year. In the second game, Wichita State put a hurting on La Salle University. Two very exciting basketball games.

Thursday (Valentine’s Day), Friday, and Saturday, LeFrancis attended the REALTOR Party Issues Conference at St. Regis Hotel on Monarch Bay in Dana Point, CA. The National Association of REALTORS® (N.A.R) REALTOR® Party is an energized movement of real estate professionals fighting to keep the dream of home ownership alive. As the largest trade organization and America’s premier advocacy group, they stand ready to continue working with Congress to advocate and implement legislation and a regulatory agenda by (1) VOTING to protect REALTOR® issues and to educate voters about issues that affect property owners; (2) ACTING in support of policies and regulations that promote home ownership and the real estate industry; and (3) INVESTING in candidates who support REALTORS® and private property rights.

With it’s one million members + 75 million homeowners who can vote and act together to heavily impact the federal, state and local levels, they will continue to help the community in the following ways:

— provide programs & grants that preserve the dream of home ownership and vibrant real estate markets;
— build vibrant communities by educating consumers and protecting homeowners’ investments;
— speak with a united voice on issues that impact communities and the dream of home ownership;
— demonstrate community leadership by voting, acting, and investing; and
— promote a strong U.S. economy.

The conference program started on Thursday with a day of “Best-Ball” golf and continued with a field of excellent speakers including Peter Hart and Bill McInturff; economy panelist Lawrence Yun, Christina Romer, and Greg Mankiw; Robert Caros on “The Years of Lyndon Johnson”; conversations with Congressman Brad Sherman (Dem.) and Congressman Gary Miller (Rep.); and Mika Brzezinski (co-host MSNBC, “Morning Joe”) on her bestseller, “Knowing Your Value”.

Attendee: NARAB® 66th Mid-Winter Conference


Wednesday, February 6 – Saturday, February 9, 2013, LeFrancis attended the National Association of Real Estate Brokers’ (NAREB®) 66th Mid-Winter Conference at the Hyatt Regency in La Jolla, California. This 4-day conference, with President Julius Cartwright at the helm, included the President and First Lady’s Welcome Dinner and Dance Reception on the Hornblower Yacht. The conference program included business meetings, educational workshops, affiliate trainings, committee meetings, licensures, the latest tech solutions, a trade show, and status reports on new partnerships and initiatives. The conference culminated with a Saturday morning “Prayer Breakfast” with guest speaker Bishop Kenneth Ulmer (Faithful Central Bible Church, Los Angeles, CA) followed by a Board of Directors meeting.

Guest Speaker: NAREB® Fundraising Golf Tournament


On Tuesday, February 5, 2013, LeFrancis golfed in the San Diego chapter of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers’ (NAREB®) Fundraising Golf Tournament held at the Riverwalk Golf Club. After playing 18 holes of “team best ball”, the tournament culminated with a dinner program with LeFrancis as their guest speaker. LeFrancis also played a special role of awarding the trophies. Proceeds from the tournament of approximately 100 golfers, went to a local non profit in San Diego.
